KCOP-TV signed-on on September 17, 1948 as KLAC-TV with the slogan "Lucky Channel 13". There are different designs to the logo, but these weren't the official logo used. KCOP's first logo, under Chris-Craft ownership. The first logo when KCOP joined the United Paramount Network. KCOP's final logo with the 1986 wordmark.
