2022年11月23日 · Not sure how many people have watched the Ipcress File. It was a AMC remake of a spy movie from the 60s starring Michael Cain. Joe Cole was the main character and he really nailed it. It was a pretty cool show, heavily stylized 1960s espionage

The show did not lead to any new leads in the case though it did lead to many people taking a fresh interest in the case.

2020年4月17日 · You’re 100% right. Joe Cole was being offered other roles and felt that there wasn’t much more he could do with John. He spoke with Knight who advised he couldn’t expand John as a character as it’s Tommy’s story. The “it’s Cillian’s show” was more a statement of fact than sour grapes.

2022年8月1日 · I would’ve loved to see a conclusion to Jimmy McCaverns character in season 6 too. Arthur and John just butchering the whole gang of billy boys and hanging Jimmy on a cross for Mosley to see. Just like they did to Bonny. They couldn’t keep every charcter alive though so I guess it was convenient timing for joe to leave the show.
