After two decades in the U.S. Army, serving multiple deployments to the Middle East, Colonel Jeremy Gwinn, F21, wanted a way to translate his on-the-ground skills into contributions to national security policy. That’s what led him to The Fletcher School for his doctoral degree.

Colonel Jeremy Gwinn is an Army infantry officer and faculty member at the Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy, National Defense University, Washington, D.C. Prior to his tenure at the Eisenhower School, Colonel Gwinn served as Chief of Staff for Strategic Operations at Headquarters, Department of the Army G-3/5/7.
