2015年2月24日 · My TJ was a 4 banger, and the YJ has more power and believe it or not is a little better on gas than the TJ was. If you get a YJ, consider looking for a '94 or '95. The '95 has superior rustproofing on the frame, and the '94 and '95 have an external clutch slave cylinder, which makes repairing the clutch master and slave a 4 bolt job.

I'm 46 years old and have already had 2 spine surgeries. My '91 (which I adore) is a pretty rough ride. I have lots I can do (springs, shocks, etc) but I'm really wondering if I should get up into a TJ.

2017年5月2日 · Before you pull the trigger, look around and make sure the internals+ the door shell price and your labor are competitive with picking up a set of used YJ doors. Prices are regional but the last set of full doors I picked up was 125 bucks.

2016年11月24日 · I plow with a Jeep because we have a steep and tight driveway with a hairpin in the middle. Started in '91 with a '69 Commando which was awesome. My '95 YJ is pretty spent after 15 years of faithful service and I'm thinking about a TJ. I use an old Meyer hydraulic unit because it is simple and dependable and I own two plows and a frame for it.
