2014年12月16日 · The 4.0 was great for the TJ (I also had a TJ with a 2.5 4-banger... that would get ANYONE begging for the 3.8 minivan boat anchor :laugh but I'm sure it would make a JK (especially an unlimited) a worse slug that pre 2012 JKs. The 3.6 is perfect though, plenty of power but not too much for a Jeep.

2009年3月8日 · The 4 liter is a flat tappet motor, so do not use an SM API rated oil. It will not lubricate properly, as they have lowered the ZDDP levels in the newer oil. I would also recommend the use of a better filter. Wix is one of the best available for a reasonable cost (less that $6). Stay away from Fram.
