I7 7700k with a RTX 4070 : r/buildapc - Reddit
2023年6月22日 · I have just done it, i7 7700k, 32 GB ram and rtx 4070. I went from 40 fps low/medium to 60 fps ultra 1440p in starfield. All other game tested are above 55 fps in ultra 1440p (baldur gate 3, cyberpunk, hogward legacy). As my best screen is only 60 fps, I wont change my CPU for now.
Is an i7-7700k still a capable cpu? What modern videocard
An i7 7700k can pretty easily go for 120-140 usd used despite having performance that’s very inferior to a ryzen 5 5500, which can be found for 99$ brand new. People would overpay for it because it’s the best processor available for lga 1151 v1, so it’s the best you can buy without getting a new motherboard, and some people prefer ...
Is an i7 7700k still viable in 2023? : r/buildapc - Reddit
2023年5月10日 · Haven't built a computer myself since 2005, so I read up and was looking for used parts, a cheap i7-7700k, some extra RAM, a decent GPU and an SSD to max out its performance. Don't want to buy stuff new unless absolutely necessary, climate, environment and …
(Probably) unpopular opinion: i7 7700k is still good enough in
Had the I7 7700K for 6 years till I got a new complete build (I9 1300K). It is a decent chip. But no matter how high you can OC it, it will still bottleneck the GPU tremendously. War Thunder is not a game to brag about when it comes to its demands for new hardwares of today. An underperforming PC can run that optimally.
I7 7700k and gtx 1080 still a good combination in 2022? How
TLDR: Even after the patch, the 7700k loses next to nothing in gaming performance. It's like 1-2% difference. I've been running a stable 4.7GHz OC on my 7700k since 2017. No issues after the patch. It could just be CPU degradation. I had that happen to my previous 3570k, which needed more voltage to maintain 4.3GHz after a few years.
From I7 - 7700k to Ryzen 7 5800X : r/buildapc - Reddit
The tittle says it all! I have a I7 - 7700k with a 3060TI, I would like to upgrade to a 5800X. It was on a good sale at my local computer store for Black Friday. I bought it but wondering if its really a update thats worth it. I looked on CPU Benchmarks and it look somewhat better, with more cores/threads. Is it a good upgrade thats worth it?
Running Windows 11 on my unsupported i7 7700k works fine :)
2021年10月5日 · Very uncommon, if you try to install Windows 11 on a 7700K today, the installer will not allow you to install Windows on it, even if you have TPM 2.0. You currently need to replace that dll that OP mentioned to bypass the Win11 Processor/Requirements checks.
Upgrading my PC: a rtx 4060Ti will work fine with i7 7700k?
Upgraded from 980Ti to 3070, with an 7700K. Of course, it runs better in graphic intense games, but at the same time was massively bottlenecked by the cpu, where in many AAA titles (especially cyberpunk) I couldn't expect anything more than 60-80fps because of …

Does the i7 7700k bottleneck the RX 6700xt? : r/buildapc - Reddit
2022年1月8日 · If at 1440p, the 6700 XT is the max GPU that’s practical for the 7700k. 1% lows can be improved if a better CPU is used. However, this combo likely allows 95%+ average FPS potential of the 6700 XT at max graphic settings. At 1080p, the CPU definitely isn’t going to be able to keep up with the GPU in most titles.
