Hui Nalu was guided by Edward K. “Dude” Miller the only Canoe Captain on Waikiki Beach. He was renowned for his expertise in canoeing, surfing, and swimming during the day and his outstanding musical talent and ability directing his own orchestra at night.

About Us – Hui Nalu Canoe Club
Hui Nalu’s mission is to provide educational activities centered on ocean activities for individuals, families, and the community. The summer regatta season involves age groups and open races ranging from 1/4 to 1 1/2 miles. Participants range in age from 10 to 70+.
