Huaihai Road or Huaihai Lu (Chinese: 淮海路; pinyin: Huáihǎi Lù; Shanghainese: Wahae Lu) is a road in Shanghai, China. The central section of Huaihai Road is one of the two major shopping streets in central Shanghai; the other is Nanjing Road.

Shanghai Huaihai Road is a popular commercial street in the city, which has several shopping markets, department stores and typical Shanghai cuisine restaurants. Huaihai Road is close to East Nanjing Road and the Bund.

The Huaihai Road is 6000 meters long and has been divided into three main sections- West Huaihai Road, Middle Huaihai Road, and East Huaihai Road. The Middle Huaihai Road takes up a length of as much as 5500 meters and forms the essence of this road.

Just down south from Nanjing Road, another main artillery of ancient Shanghai converging with the new Shanghai is Huaihai Road. This is French town, the former French Concession. One of the only preserved concession areas remaining (apart from the Bund).
