2018年7月12日 · I am contemplating using "He/They" to signal my gender identity (He) and my social justice identity (They). As someone directly impacted by mass incarceration, I am often part of a discourse that Identifies people like me as "they" on a regular basis. When our allies talk about what "they" need, my body responds in a particular way.

2020年12月1日 · Using he/they pronouns would just be using he/him/his and they/them/theirs as their pronouns because that is what they are comfortable with. This may mean they are non-binary, but not necessarily. The biggest thing is just to respect the pronouns people give and you should be good.

I mean, I pretty much get it, but it doesn’t make sense to put a normal pronoun in the place of a direct object pronoun (they in the place of him). It would make more sense to say “he/him, but they/them also works.” Anyway, bc the accepted gender-neutral pronouns are they/them, all cis males are “he/they” by default.
