2021年7月3日 · Question is, how am I supposed to install the appropriate HP-branded driver for this USB-connected printer? (I don't want to connect this one via TCP/IP unless I must.) 2022年2月15日 · When I worked with the HP Tech he had me power cycle (printer on unplug the power cord hold power button down for 30 seconds), update the drivers and a few other miscellaneous things. That actually kept the printer working for about a month, but about a week ago the problem came back.

2024年4月2日 · I have a Hp Laserjet Pro M404n, ethernet connected to printer, no lights and the network setup is missing from the setup menuj. Printer was working just fine the day before. I tested the network cable which tested good. I also relocated the printer and tried it within a different segment with active network connection.

2019年9月18日 · Then select another printer listed in devices and printers and then go to the print manager and delete the HP M404n driver. (Reboot if needed). Then install the universal print driver and plug the USB cable back in. You should be able to use that driver... At least until we can figure out why the M404n driver is having these issues in Windows 10.
