As are Rockband 1,2,3 that are backported into guitar hero 3, as the engine itself is using world tour/warriors of rock that have the free note strum feature added to the game. 2022年7月11日 · The first 2 Guitar Hero games had a "narrative" (not much of one imo) about a cover band making it big, thus, covers were used stylistically to fit that theme. It wasn't a licensing issue; Harmonix used licensed music stems on Amplitude, it was literally just because they wanted to do covers.

Guitar Hero 1's main setlist consisted entirely of cover songs. Guitar Hero 2's main setlist was mostly filled with covers, but there were some exceptions: "Possum Kingdom" by Toadies (Xbox 360 exclusive)
