Aug 28, 2012 · Just speaking from my experience, I've purchased a bag from the Gucci outlet (that the SA said was made just for the outlet) and the inside leather tag was stamped with a circle G. I've also purchased a waist bag (that I know for sure was carried at the full price store) from the outlet and there was no circle G stamp.

May 6, 2010 · Another option if you want an authentic head/pull is to look on ebay, tradesy etc and see if you can find a similar bag thats really cheap. Usually if they're trashed the cost is peanuts. A cobbler can take that bag apart for spare parts. I kept all of my vintage Gucci canvas bags because they are all still in fantastic shape.
