On the northwestern border of the famous Serengeti National Park, there is the Grumeti Game Reserve: a migration corridor for herds of animals that naturally pass through the area. Grumeti is well worth considering as a safari destination. The spectacular Great Migration of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles passes through in May and June and these huge herds attract all the big cats – lion, leopard, and cheetah. Grumeti Game Reserve is located next to Tanzania’s famous Serengeti National Park.
