2008年12月4日 · Plus the box for Keyboard Viewer. Then select Greek in the "flag" menu at the top right of the Finder and start typing. Use Keyboard Viewer to see which key does what. OS X comes with fonts for Greek already, there is no need to download anything. Lucida Grande is the default and probably Arial, Helvetica, Tahoma, Times will have it as well.

Click the American flag in the menu bar at the top of the screen and a Greek flag will take the place of the American flag. You now have greek fonts instad of english.

Where can I find a quick how-to in order to tell FontForge to shift the greek "A" in the offending fonts from its current, wrong, position (00C1) to the right one (0391)? Check the Help. But I think you can just copy/paste the glyphs from the wrong position to the right one.

2021年3月1日 · I have just downloaded Pages from the App store. I need to use the symbol font for Greek letters in my teaching notes. When I select symbol font and type "a", I should get the alpha symbol but the usual "a" appears. I checked the font setting and the display shows all the Greek letters. I recommend you not use the Symbol font to type Greek.

Point that i made a similar test creating a zip file on my PC (Windows 7) and again there was unmatched filenames when unzipping on my MAC. I could share this test file if you wish so! the problem is oriented only in greek fonts of the file names.

I went in to Font Book and did "Validate" on Arial (which was the one that turned to greek in Powerpoint). There were 2 of them, one of which showed in yellow.
