The model 66 Combat Magnums are essentially a negligable same size and weight as the L-frame 686; however, the 686+ comes with 7 rounds. They both have the same grip size and trigger reach. The 4" Model 66 is 36.9 oz. The 4" 686+ is 39.2 oz.

2018年2月11日 · All the imported 66 were made by CBC but there were at least 4 companies who imported them to the US. FIE, Century Arms, Kassner and finally Magtech which was CBCs own import firm. None of the imported rifles have markings on the pistol grip cover. The FIE called theirs "Black Beauty". Kassner marked theirs Nylon 66 on the receiver cover.

2010年1月19日 · Have an opportunity to get one local (6" , 66-2 , excellent condition) for what I think is a fair price. I have heard its not quite as durable compared to others when fed a steady diet of strong magnum loads. Just wondering if anyone had any feedback, either positive or negative, on the Model 66 or in particular, the 66-2.

2021年10月6日 · Good grief, lusted after the Nylon 66 (Think it was called Apache black, chrome barrel and black stock) back in the early to mid 60s. Never got one, made do with a hand me down Marlin bolt action. Later got a 10/22 and now the Nylon 66 no longer holds the allure it did when I was 14-15.

2024年11月29日 · Think they look good. Had a 66 for a while that I got in a horse trade. It was decent enough. But it went on its way. If you want a 19, don’t think they’re horrible. Just take a look at it before you buy it.
