2023年9月11日 · We are a subreddit dedicated to the live action series adaptation of the One Piece manga. I don’t have many complaints about the live action, but not including this hurt me. Genzo’s pinwheel being there just to try and make nami smile, and then him removing it at the end because ‘she doesn’t need it anymore’ was really beautiful.

Genzo wears a pinwheel on his hat because he used it to make Nami laugh when she was a baby (this pinwheel also inspired an attack for Luffy during their fight with Arlong). He played a role in rescuing Luffy after Arlong threw him into the ocean.
