2015年12月14日 · The gtx 960m would not be able to take advantage of the extra vram as the laptop is only able to play the game in med to high settings I think. I would keep the 2 gigs if money is an issue or spend a little more for a laptop with a gtx 970m.

2014年5月17日 · Core specs: i5-6300HQ Quad Core, 8GB DDR3L, 256GB SSD, GTX 960M 4GB, 1080p IPS display. As a desktop gamer, I've gotten spoiled with crossfire r9 390 8gb .. and pretty much max everything at 1080p with 144 frames per second. Because of this, I now can't do any gaming at less than 60 FPS without it feeling super choppy.

I uninstalled GeForce Experience, changed my in game settings so V-sync is off (and changed it in the Control panel), turned sport mode and high performance mode on, made sure it was using the gpu, and fans on at 100%, still laggy and locked at 60fps (and other games are running much slower than usual).

2016年4月3日 · I know that gtx-960m is not the strongest and gtx-980m in the 15" model is much superior for modern games. However I hope that gtx-960m is really good enough for most of the games and I wonder how the Graphic Amplifier works when paired with the newest CPU. I would love to buy the 13" + Graphic Amplifier instead of bigger unit 15" or 17"...

2016年6月10日 · I then downloaded the NvGPUStateViewer to see if the gtx 960m was actually running during a heavy load, and the indicator turned into ON while i was trying to play ACS which, i guess, means that the gtx 960m is functionning while gaming. So what I don't understand now is why are we getting this poor performance even though the gtx 960m is running.
