2015年1月4日 · I have a Horseshoe Leather OWB holster for my G26, but I bought it several years ago. Not sure what Mr. Arratoonian, the maker, is doing right now. His waiting time was many months long, even back then. I also like Ryan Grizzle holsters. Again, there is a lead time.

2020年5月1日 · A consideration with OWB is how low below the belt the bottom of the holster is. Depending on the length of the untucked shirt/T-shirt, it will only cover so much and the bottom of an OWB holster may become exposed. Don't forget normal body motions can cause the shirt to rise up. For summer carry, IWB is best for concealment.

2024年10月13日 · it really depends what I’m doing - I probably pocket carry 60% of the time, OWB 25% and IWB 15%. I have OWB holsters that are leather and some that are kydex. All that said, I’ve probably had most of my leather stuff for at least 20 years (most of them are for my G26 or J frames) and they are still a perfect, secure fit.

2023年12月28日 · Looking at both OWB and IWB carry. I had a holster ordered from another place and apparently they are have "technical difficulties" and people aren't getting their stuff. Looking at Kydex, but would be open to leather for the OWB holster if the price and quality are there. Thanks in advance.

2024年11月8日 · The G26 is a heavier gun and more so when loaded. I carry a G26 or G27 with a +2 OEM extension OWB just behind my hip in a Vedder LightDraw most days. It also carry a backup mag on the opposite side to help balance the weight in my belt and give me more ammo if needed. I don’t find it uncomfortable.

2018年8月29日 · Because the G26 has such a short, rigid and thus accurate barrel, carrying it in a HIGH-RIDING leather OWB pancake-style holster allows it to conceal as well as my G43 IWB in my opinion. The picture below is of a G19 on the left in a Galco kydex IWB holster. The G26 on the right is in a Mitch Rosen UPL-EXP OWB high-riding holster.

2020年12月10日 · I have been carrying either a G26 or G43 IWB for many years in the 5 o'clock position. While it seems to be the most comfortable and concealable method for me it limits my ability to draw it quickly especially while sitting. Could someone recommend a OWB holster that puts the muzzle of the gun somewhat even with the bottom of the belt.
