2019年7月15日 · I heard that if I use a J2534 pass-thru device with Ford FJDS and an active license, that I cannot program modules on the MS-CAN bus even with J2534-2 compliance. Modules on MS-CAN that I'm interested in are Driver Door Module (DDM) and Passenger Door Module (PDM) on a 2017 Ford Fusion.

2017年9月13日 · Ford has just released a new product called FJDS. It gives full diagnostic capabilities for 2018 and newer Ford products. This is to be in compliance with right to repair agreements made in the USA. It also has programming for all Ford vehicles from 1996 to current. I have used this in the last few weeks.

2019年8月6日 · I have a Ford Fusion with a gearshift module (GSM) that has an older software calibration, but the hardware part number is the same as the GSM on a slightly newer Fusion. So basically two identical GSM's but one has an older software version. When I try to update it in IDS or FJDS, it refuses to update saying it is already the latest calibration.
