Flug Werk Fw 190A-8/N Dan Kirkland bought the remains of a Fw 190A-5 that crashed in France during WWII. Along with the major components supported by Flug Werk we rebuilt the 190 using a Russian Ash 82 engine and propeller manufactured by MT Propeller.

At least 23 Fw 190s exist in museums, collections and in storage worldwide, with 11 displayed in the United States. The National Air and Space Museum stores the only known surviving "long-wing" Ta 152 H, an H-0/R-11 version, at the Paul E. Garber Preservation, Restoration and Storage Facility in Suitland, Maryland.

The Focke-Wulf Fw 190, nicknamed Würger [b] is a German single-seat, single-engine fighter aircraft designed by Kurt Tank at Focke-Wulf in the late 1930s and widely used during World War II. Along with its well-known counterpart, the Messerschmitt Bf 109, the Fw 190 became the backbone of the Jagdwaffe (Fighter Force) of the Luftwaffe.
