2014年6月2日 · I was flinching 10 - 12 times in a hundred targets and was about to quit shooting. A friend introduced me to a release trigger. I haven't flinched since and am back to really enjoying shooting again. So a serious flincher can continue to analyze the hell out of their flinch or get a release trigger and quit flinching. 2011年6月23日 · Flinching is not caused by a trigger....bench rest shooters with 1/2 oz triggers will flinch. Changing the direction that the sear works ain't gonna cure the problem. The only reason that trap tolerates release triggers is it's good bait.

2024年8月3日 · My definition of a visual flinch is not seeing the target out of the house and jerking the gun to catch up thus missing the target. In my experience a release trigger won't solve the flinching/jerking, but lowering your hold point may help the shooter see the target out of the house sooner allowing a smoother swing.

2014年7月12日 · Flinching is caused by trying to jerk the trigger when you think the time is right. Professional shooters dryfire almost as often as they live fire. Like in the wind some will twitch the barrel around to get on the target and mash the trigger thinking they will some how save a lost shot. Do it enough and your flinching every shot.

2024年5月31日 · Most of my "flinching" comes from probably anticipating recoil, and then not pulling the trigger hard enough to fire the round. Highly doubt a release trigger would fix my issue, because it's almost always on the first round fired. I've gotten pretty good at getting rid of it, but it still rears its ugly head every few rounds.
