And while it takes some co-ordination, combining Firion's Blood Weapon, Y'shtola's Aetherial Pulse and Vivifying Lance, and HP Regen, can give Firion a ton of survivability. Here are some examples of teacup's Firion and my Y'shtola working together.

Maxed Firion has 102 base attack, 3 "Killer" passives natively and he can equip anything in the game except heavy shields (and who cares about shields with an offensive unit anyway). He also becomes a powerhouse with his 6* upgrade, and is one of the higher rated units at 6* out of what we currently have in Global.

Maria will have low interference and light armor to ensure her status effects land. They're the most important spells. Guy will have physical power and heavy armor so he can raw damage soak while others evade dodge.

So without high Evasion, not only are you more likely to be hit by those guaranteed Petrify/Death attacks, you're also more likely to be ambushed by the enemies that use them and get Petrified/Insta-Killed before you can do anything about it.
