2022年3月6日 · White Marseilles is a yellow/white honey fig. The taste is pure honey, no other taste. Some people like it and some do not. But it is good to have something different. White Madeira #1 is a green fig with red berry interior. The berry is more tasty and green color shields the figs from birds etc.

I'm not a fig hobbyist like most people on this forum. I'm more like a tree lover who particularly likes fruit trees and wants one fig tree in my yard. I previously received free MBVS cuttings for just shipping costs from a very generous person here when I lived in Austin. I was fortunate enough to get one of them to root.

2015年2月21日 · While I wouldn't necessarily plant a fig tree in a whole that is known to be infected with RKN, I, also, wouldn't necessarily dig one out. In the ground the roots of the fig tree will generally outpace the RKN. All other things being ok, the tree will generally survive (and sometimes thrive).
