Faro island is a 15 minute free ferry from Gotland Island off the east coast of Sweden. It is so beautiful and serene you will be happy you made the effort. The villages are all unique and boast beautiful, ancient churches. The Faro church where Ingmar Bergman is buried has a stunning view of the sea. Highly recommend.
