2016年5月5日 · Rather, I'm asking if I can have a Roku app on my Tivo. Although it's great to have 1st level apps like Netflix and Hulu on Tivo, there are thousands of apps which are not on Tivo or the Tivo version is out of date. If I could have a Roku app on Tivo, then I could use the Roku version of Neflix, Hulu, or whatever other app I wanted.

2009年10月26日 · I am using Xvfb and an X window manager and a tivo app that transfers the image of the screen to the tivo. The "mouse" is controlled by the TiVo remote. For a browser, one can launch firefox or konqueror (or any app for that matter.) One goal is to run MythWeb and access it via a browser from the TiVo.

2018年8月6日 · Also it is a PITA if you get interrupted and the stupid system tells you that you are using too many concurrent streams and you have to keep trying (there must be a time limit). I only use the app if I am out of the house (why use an app when you have a TV in front of you?). I would absolutely love if they had an option to run without the screen.

2024年9月9日 · FYI for those you have Xfinity but don't know this trick, you can set a manual recording by going left in the Guide to the channel name/id and hit "record" on your remote to bring up a manual recording screen.
