The Honda Civic Type R TCR is a racing car built on the basis of the TCR rules established in 2015, which is included in the World Touring Car Cup under the direction of the FIA. In 2019 and 2020, it won the TCR Model of the Year award, which is given for the most successful car in the category across a year.

The Honda Civic Type R TCR, which is based on the FK7 version of the market-leading hatchback, is the same specification as when first introduced in 2018. Its five-door wide body is reinforced by an MSA-Certified welded roll cage.

以我自己來講，我花了三百多萬買入這台Honda Civic Type R FK7 TCR廠車，再花4~50萬去把車拆開來重新整理（依照說明書，照著規範與步驟將零件全數拆解再組裝，把所有耗材都換一輪，做完之後這車等同是新車了）。

2022年5月3日 · TCR本來的目標就是統一規格，統一規定車手的動力/底盤/車重等等，將車輛的差異性降到最低最低，因此這具K20C1最大出力被限制在340hp/6200rpm，42.85kgm/3800rpm。另外像是最新的Audi RS 3 LMS TCR (2021)也是在這個規範內。
