2021年6月11日 · I just tried both a F900XR and F850GS. I'm rather dumbfounded how both of these motorcycles left me feeling nothing. Nothing was horribly bad but these are the things that turn me off: Noisy, clattery, rattlely engine; this is deal breaker #1. Vibration all over; idle, acceleration and anything over 75mph; deal breaker #2.

2014年4月8日 · I have the F800GS…not the F850GS so my comparison of bikes is really on the F800GS. My F800GS rides on Touratech Extreme Suspension - which is like 1.5” taller than stock. It’s a stretch! My 6’3” friend Miles has something like a 34” inseam and he flat-foots the bike (bastard!). I have a 30” inseam and yeah, it’s a tall bike!

2014年5月10日 · I'm running E-07 + tires on my F850GS. I was always a TKC-70 fan but after 1500 miles to date I'm loving the Mitas tires. The only dirt that I ride is dirt roads and I see a noticeable improvement with the E-07 +, mostly in turns, on the brakes and on the gas. Can't offer much more than that.

2019年6月17日 · I sold my R1200GS outright and traded my F700GS for this F850GS so I have and will be doing a lot of comparing of the 850 to the 700 and 1200. So far have put about 1,700 miles on the 850, mostly day rides, one 20 mile long ride on an unmaintained dirt road and I also did a two-day overnighter with full gear on the back.

2021年4月14日 · I've put 12k miles on my '19 F850GS and the reports of ~200 miles match my experience so long as I'm not gunning down the highway at 70+mph. The bike's fuel economy has a wide range even between 60-70mph from what I can tell.
