Dec 22, 2021 · The "end" button is even weirder - if I hit either "end" or "control end," I get the save menu in both Word and Outlook, but can't get to the end of a line or of the document or inbox. This is maddening after many years of using the home and end keys normally.

Hello, Where are the Home and End keys on the Aspire 5 keyboard? I found the "End" key below the "1" on the numeric keypad, but am not sure what combination is needed to activate it. I can't find the Home key at all, unless it is the left-pointing arrow below the "7". Using both the 1 and 7, I tried Shift+, Ctrl+, Fn+, and Alt+, and none of them worked. Thanks!

Jan 12, 2022 · Late entry, but for anybody wondering, the end key brings about THE END when pressed. While of course nobody would ever press the end key, modern thinking on design sensibilities is that keyboards should only trigger keyboard events and not apocalyptic ones.

May 29, 2023 · However, getting it working on the Linux box is a bit of a gamble. A reboot does also work, but that's beyond the point of having a KVM in the first place. When obsereved with "showkeys" on my Linux box there are never any keycodes send for those "special" buttons. Special buttons here means at least PageUp, PageDown, Home and End.

In fact none of the usual key combinations worked, and I can’t find it mentioned anywhere (I’m using the Windows mode BTW).
