2022年2月27日 · There are tradeskill flying mount rewards later in the timeline. You can also buy a low/no cost flying mount from the armor equipment dealer in the planes of power and later expansions. Those are the dealers that bring you up to the minimum level equipment to fight in the zone basically for free.

Astrophotography with a GoTo EQ mount already has a steep learning curve, so using an 8" dobsonian OTA would only make things more difficult. I'd recommend starting off with a small refractor/lens if possible, and once you gain more experience, you could try using the 8" dob

2022年3月16日 · Good look trying to get precise focus with the thing vibrating at the slightest touch. You need a seriously oversized and heavyduty mount to minimize vibrations in an EQ mount. The vibrations are worse the longer the moment arms of the telescope are. Long tube newts and long tube refractors have long moment arms. The setting circles are a joke.

2023年10月28日 · Dobs were not made for photography. Even with an eq mount that could support it you'd have a hard time. Not to mention, a mount for that size scope is well out of your budget. Read the wiki over on r/AskAstrophotography for equipment recommendations. You don't need a scope to get started taking great pics of the larger, brighter objects.

2022年12月11日 · A Newtonian reflector gives the most aperture for a given price, and a Dobsonian alt-az mount either tabletop or floor standing gives the best mount for a low price. Personally I dislike Newtonians on equatorial mounts because the eyepiece tends to end up pointing in an awkward direction and moving it means rotating the whole telescope tube.

2017年9月14日 · Doubt it, but you can find the absolute speed value of any movement with the well speed value. SoW is 46. My puma mount is 64, I want to say max bard speed is 76. The paladin and SK and ornate chain bridles are also that speed.

2021年2月16日 · Yes you can EQ mount a newtonian. You'll need mounting rings and a dovetail bar for the scope, unless the scope already has mounting points for a bar. Newtonians can get pretty heavy if they are long focal length and have a solid tube, so you might have to spend a little more for an EQ mount and tripod to handle the weight.

2023年5月4日 · My first EQ mount was an old Seben manual mount with the slow motion knobs. I bought a cheap Celestron single axis motor drive from amazon or ebay for $30. I do see ali express has them for 18 bucks right now.
