2025年3月26日 · This morning World Surf League co-owner and CEO Paul Speaker announced his resignation effective at the end of January. In a letter addressed to fans of the WSL Speaker declared that co-owner, and reclusive financial backer, Dirk Ziff would serve as interim CEO until a decision is reached on who will fulfil the position.

Mr. Ziff is an owner and board member of World Surf League (WSL) and a current board member of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Mr. Ziff received a BA in English Literature from Columbia University in 1988 and a MBA with distinction from Harvard University in 1993.
