2022年5月31日 · Not sure why you're getting the hassle from Dexcom support, but if there is an issue with the sensor not caused through user negligence, they are obligated to replace the sensor. I haven't had to deal with Dexcom support yet, but I had lots of failed sensors with Abbott Freestyle, and never had an issue getting a replacement.

I Definitely cannot dose insulin off of the dexcom. Also, the app on my phone loses the signal and won’t give me readings very frequently. So frustrating.

2020年10月24日 · Gomer, yes you can but via a method not supported by Dexcom. To do this:-End your sensor session. Do not remove your sensor from your body. You can remove the transmitter by depressing the little retainer tabs inside of the bezel. I use a thin guitar pick, others have had success with a test strip, or thin credit card.

I calibrated the G6 receiver to the glucose meter reading. I just checked the numbers again after two hours and they’re spot on! The G6 displays 240 , the glucose meter displays 244.

2020年11月22日 · What I found, was the Dexcom reader was only doing 1/2 corrections I entered. Example: say my G6 was 10 BG, say giving a 140 reading when my BG was 150, I would enter 160, ten the Dexcom reading matches my finger stick. IMPORTANT: I do this ONLY when my BG has been very stable for at least 1/2 hr. I prefer doing it after fasting overnight.
