Though if you want to watch the major movies starring Deadpool and Wolverine it's the first 3 X-Men movies, X-Men Origins, The Wolverine, Days of Future Past and Logan, along with both Deadpool movies. Logan cameos in First Class and Apocalypse.

I'll concede that I've only seen the movies and not read the comics he's in, but as far as I understand it the humor is consistent. His nonstop sarcastic meta-banter was alright at first but now it's just unbearable, especially since I see him EVERYWHERE nowadays.

How does Deadpool break the fourth wall? He technically doesn't. Officially, he's insane and thinks he's in a comic book. From the point of view of everyone in the Marvel universe (including Deadpool's), this belief is unfounded and unproven. Deadpool has no cosmic awareness power; his insanity just happens to be right from our point of view.

The biggest issue with Deadpool/Spider-Man was that their dynamic didnt make much sense because of what you said, but it doesnt really matter to me IMO, the book itself was genuine fun and despite the weird set up of their team up, Peter's portrayal was really well done, especially compared to his main runs.

In Wolverine Origins, Wade is depicted as a mutant, who was then further mutated. Deadpool the movie instead describes the process as being a way of awakening the potential for mutation; Wade was essentially a born mutant, who likely never would have been noted as anything other than baseline human had he not volunteered for the program.

There's once upon a Deadpool,a live action PG-13 Deadpool film that's basically Deadpool 2 but more family friendly (still fun tho). Lego Marvel Superheroes 1 has Deadpool as a playable character although unlocking him is very hard (unless you are on PC and download a save file with Deadpool unlocked).
