You may have heard about it in the media over the years, but what is the real story, how did it get started, what do they do, and how can so many different federal agencies work together so well under one roof? !

Within SOD, DEA has also established two field enforcement groups that investigate narco-trafficking and narcoterrorism activities. This allows us to focus investigative resources on the criminal organizations with the greatest potential impact on U.S. national security interests.

Denise Foster was appointed as Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Caribbean Division of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) on December 12, 2021. As the SAC, Ms. Foster is responsible for the domestic offices in San Juan, Ponce, Fajardo and Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and St. Thomas and St. Croix in the U.S.
