Question New to doki doki and havent played it yet, but want to. i saw on steam the Ddlc is free, but the plus version cost money, whats the diff between the two? are they separate games or is plus just an add on dlc? and is buying plus worth it instead of getting the original for free?

2021年7月20日 · I believe it's worth it if you really like ddlc. theres no new content in the main story, but the side stories are really good imo. theres also more lore with the metaverse thing if that's something you're into. it's kind of fun doing everything to get 100% data collection. overall, I think 15 bucks is a pretty good price for it.

2017年11月18日 · DDLC has an extremely simple soundtrack, but even so, I barely managed to get by with my skills. I decided to compose it myself because I wanted it to be full of simple, catchy melodies, and repeating motifs. A game any more serious than DDLC would be far beyond my capacity to design an effective, professional soundtrack.

The DLC side stories are the control group for the experiment where Monika has the access, but no knowledge of the world. There's more to it, but a lot of the rest is more "hinted at" than actually clear. I know MatPat and Game Theory can be a bit cringy.
