2025年1月3日 · Dark Cave (Japanese: くらやみのほらあな Dark Cave) is a single-level cave located in eastern Johto. Though it is not necessary to enter the cave to complete the storyline, Dark Cave is the only place in the Generation II games to capture wild Dunsparce and Wobbuffet.

The Dark Cave is a cave which connects three seperate routes through its two areas. This cave is impossible to navigate without Flash and is not travelable through until much later in the game.

2024年6月1日 · The Dark Cave connects Route 31 with Routes 45 and 46, in Johto's East. But unless you know Flash, Strength, and Surf, you can't use it to go anywhere. You can, however, sneak in very early on in the game and catch some rare Pokémon as well as pick up a Potion. In Gold and Silver, you can hang around for a bit until you spot a Geodude.

This brief walkthrough of the Dark Cave will rely on you entering from the Blackthorn City side, from Route 45.

Dark Cave is a small cave connecting Route 1 to Midna Garden. After receiving the Scuba Gear, another section of the cave can be accessed by using the Dive spot in the central lake and surfacing in a Dive spot located to the northeast of the underwater area.

2025年1月3日 · Route 31 (Japanese: 31ばんどうろ Route 31) is a route in central Johto, connecting Route 30 and Violet City. The western entrance to Dark Cave is located on the eastern part of the route. This route is the third route that Trainers starting in New Bark Town will arrive at.

The Dark Cave is a cave found lining Route 45 and Route 46, which can be found going down from Blackthorn City. There is not much to do in this cave other than catching for the Pokédex or to mine gemstones.
