2007年4月17日 · Whats better.... D8K OR D8H dozer575 is correct. If you are going to operate a D8H or a K on a steep slope, you best throw an extra five gallons of oil in the tranny. The reason is that the pickup tube for the transmission pump is located to the front of the housing.

2023年6月6日 · D8H hasn’t ran in 15 years and I can’t get it to prime up. Replaced all 6 injection pumps and changed filters. It ran on its own power once while forcing fuel with air and loosening lines to injectors. Now I can’t get it to pick up fuel again. While forcing fuel with air it has little to no return fuel. You'll need an experienced hand,some specialist pulling gear,and a few coins in your bank. Getting the right man for the job with experience may save you thousands. Start with getting a good fitter.
