2011年5月5日 · I have had a ganglion cyst on my foot for about 8 - 12 months. This weekend it popped on its own. The fluid is stuck in my foot and the pressure is causing pain when I walk. It's been two days, and I don't feel like it is getting better. It's not red, but the area is a little warmer than the rest of my foot.

There seems to be 2 areas of thought about how this type of cyst arises. The first being that due to arthritic changes the joint capsule becomes comprimised and joint fluid seeps out.

I recently inured my left foot, and my mri showed a split tear of the peroneus brevis, and short longitudinal tears of my achilles in addition to a mid anterior calcaneal cyst that was preexisting. I'm in a full cast now, but haven't had surgery. My doctor wants to use that as a last resort.

2011年9月30日 · Podiatrist thought I had sesamoditis, gave me anti inflammatory, added pads to my orthotics and instructions to ice regularly, went back two weeks later with pain worse then ever. He then thought I might have a fracture of the sesamoid bone. Sent me for MRI & x-rays. Turns out I have a cyst on my sesamoid bone that is causing the bone to die.

2012年7月15日 · A ganglionic cyst is a hard jelly-like filled cyst which is attached to and arising from the lining of a tendon, and that probably is also a not especially likely diagnosis. I would think it more likely that the lump is a hematoma which has organized into a tumorous mass and may need to be evacuated and/or removed.
