2020年5月7日 · I need to know why my bull calf won't stop mooing. We just bought him at the auction not even a week ago, and he has mooed constantly since we got him. He's about 6 months old, and we think he just got separated from his mother. We currently have no other large livestock to keep him company and...
I know it sounds strange but: My cow is Depressed!

I think she's depressed!.. It all started when she saw us milking the new mother... She got mad and tried to move the cow from the milking post..

Boss cows | BackYardHerds - Goats, Horses, Sheep, Pigs & more
2009年4月20日 · A lead cow is good to have. Some will even put a bell on the lead cow as, usually where she is the others are close by. As long as she respects you and isn't overly bossy to the others I would say, keep her. If she gets so she's keeping others from the food, beating on them to where she may hurt them, etc. then I would get rid of her.

2011年3月29日 · She also lays there and moo's for at least a week before she calves. As long as the cow is happy and eating there is nothing to worry about. My last milk cow looked like she was going to have a 100# plus calf. She had a 75# calf. Have another cow that always looks like she is going to have twins every year. She has a single calf instead.

5 day old calf not eating, not active... Cause for concern?
2012年9月4日 · Between my last post and your response, I, being overly concerned, went out and brought him into the house. He is now wandering around the house following my little, black miniature schnauzer from room to room, mooing all the time. That is a big change from his norm the last day and a half. He's not moo'd except when I had a tube down his throat.
Why is my cows rump swollen on one side - BackYardHerds
2025年1月3日 · I have a Momma cow that has some swelling on the left rump cheek. It is not tender or mushy soft. Feels the same as the other side. It is just slightly swollen. Would anyone have an idea as to why this may be. The only thing I can think of is she was stung by something or kicked. I dont see any physical injury and she is not tender.
