This is a VERY NICE Elkhart Conn 70H bass trombone. The 70H is one of the finest single rotor bass trombones ever produced. Yellow brass bell gives a clear tone and response, and the tuning in the slide allows for continuous expansion through the bell rendering a freer blowing horn.

Here is another beautiful Conn 70H, this one has been made in 1948. It is the "long bell, short slide" version of a Conn 70H which is actually easier to play for someone used to a modern bass trombone. The 70H may well be my favorite bass trombone of all times and this is a great sounding example.
