In the presence of 2,2,2-trifluoroacetic acid (CF 3 COOH) as the catalyst and 2,2,2- trifluoroethylamine (CF 3 CH 2 NH 2) as the modulator, 16 different COFs with crystal sizes ranging from 50 to 150 μm were synthesized in 1 to 2 days (Fig. 1B).
