Anyone gotten this trouble code before or can shed some light? 2016 428i Gran Coupé, 44K miles. Just got the check engine light last night after work. Took the car to AutoZone today and got the readout below but couldn’t provide much info on it.

2019年6月18日 · Reading that this code is caused by something wrong with the radiator, I checked the coolant level. It was a tad low. I added coolant and the check engine light went away.

2023年4月24日 · It’s the only code that triggered the CEL, according to my scanner. It looks like it may be the EGT sensor. Gonna try reseating that sensor and go from there.

This code relates to a sensor in the radiator. It should be fine to drive as is as long as preforming normally. You may have extended warranty on this part so I would check with a dealer before paying for the repair elsewhere

That's a SAE version of code 1B8302, which is the same code mentioned in both MINI tech bulletins, - SIM 13 01 19 and SIM 01 05 20. and problem could be covered up to 150K or 120K miles, depending on your registration state.

2023年9月13日 · CEL comes up and scans the two codes U019D & P0143. My research indicates these code relate to the SULEV system and specifically the EAC sensor that is built into the radiator. BMW does not sell the sensor as a standalone part, and instead insists you purchase an entirely new radiator.
