The Corgi Clay Art Center is Stafford County’s first vibrant, creative community that offers ceramics classes, firing services, artist residencies, teaching and exhibition opportunities, and memberships for potters.

Corgi Clay products are all hand-made, functional, ceramic ware made from durable stoneware clay, fired to cone 6 oxidation. They are dishwasher and microwave safe. Though, I always recommend hand-washing for longevity of product.

To view what is happening in upcoming months, simply click the forward arrow at the top of the calendar. Over the past 20 years, I've been creating sculptures, as well as functional pottery and during this time, I've explored various themes, but I find that I keep returning to my fascination with the human form. I am truly captivated by the human form; by the way that a gesture can speak to us.

Pre-make hand made clay tool, have it ready for the tutorial. Take some polymer clay and roll it into the shape as shown below. Make it 1� to 2 inches long at least.
