2011年3月16日 · Well, for me, having played the V30 a few times and owing the G12h-30, the G12 poops all over the V30. The V30 is BRIGHT, lacking harmonics and just a boring screachy fish wife of a speaker (to me!) The G12 is one of the most rewarding speakers out there if you play a wide range of music, warm, full, lotsa bass, mids and airy highs.

2018年3月15日 · Out of all the Celestions I had over the years and also lots of other speakers that simulate Pulsonic cones, the G12-35XC is easily my favorite. This speaker has it all IMO. Equally great for cleans, raunchy, crunch, mean and super mean sounds and it really excels at all levels.

2024年9月8日 · S75 PVC, is also 2db Less Efficient than a modern Celestion Blue. 98db vs 100db. Its the one, Id get. And yes, I know the Blue is 15w, and is not good with the amp, but its a sound associated with Vox circuits, and the Scumback, to me, is a close direct comparison for 2 companies take on what sounds good, with a Vox type circuit.

2020年1月15日 · The (soon to be outdated) GT-100 has a Celestion G12-FSD speaker in it. Fender's page for the GTX-100 reads, " New specially-designed 12-inch Celestion speaker... " yet the pic of the back of the amp shows a Celestion G12-FSD (albeit with a different sticker).

2022年6月2日 · Or 150w Celestion G12H Redbacks. Another great choice is the Rawson Sparfield Starfinder 100w. Starfinders are an all but exact repro of the original Fane 100w Cresendo A, and are even charged on the original magnatizer Fane used for the Cresendos. Id go with the Starfinders if money is no object, and you dont mind 18lb speakers.
