Wake County Speedway is a 1/4-mile NASCAR Sanctioned short track founded in 1962. The racing program starts in early April and continues through mid-September. Races are held on most Friday nights during the season with gates opening at 6 pm. Tickets are on sale at the main gate ticket booth. Practice and qualifying start at 7 pm each race night.
