If so, have another go to remove any imperfections and add primer to that area 24 hours later. Primer MUST harden for 24 hours to avoid shrinkage.

Though I'm in the US, and therefore never used Halfords paint or primer, I use Rustoleum primers all the time; all these primers are made to be possibly used on a real car, and most cars are painted with a lacquer that is chemically hotter than Tamiya sprays.

2010年10月9日 · I would not spray it on bare plastic. I would use a good light gray or white automotive primer like Plastikote T-235 White sandable primer. Also it is not glossy as it is made to spray inside of a clear body. It's not flat but it will need a clear coat. It's a hassle but is the only accurate paint for that car.
