2005年3月12日 · The CR9E is a colder sparking plug than the CR8E. Numbers going up generally mean colder plugs. If you ride "conservatively", it may be too cold for you, but if you "thrash" your bike near its rev limiter, it will work fine.

2004年11月8日 · The number in a NGK part number reffers to the Heat range of the plug. the hight the number the colder the plug so a CR9E is a colder plug than the CR8E both plugs should work, for alittle extra performance I would recomment a NGK CR8EIX

2017年4月8日 · CR8E cant be obtained locally and have to be ordered online = have to wait which I prefer not to. The bike runs unsmoothly, quite noticable when giving steady throttle at cruise speed, I can feel power surges and power losses, like hickups every few seconds.

2010年1月17日 · I put in a CR8E which is standard. CR7E is the Hot Type and CR9E is the Cold type. Here is some information regarding the differences: "A spark plug is said to be "hot" if it is a better heat insulator, keeping more heat in the tip of the spark plug.

2003年6月27日 · You still only get 1 spark as the electricity always takes the shortest route to ground. so the spark will travel to the nearest ground electrode when that one erodes past the gap of the other one the spark will then jump to electrode #2 and so on and so forth. the only benefit will be longer life over a std plug but a single electrode iridium plug would still be better.

2013年5月15日 · If they don't have the CR8EB (which is OEM) and you end up with a CR8E make sure the cap comes with it. If not, you can use the screw off cap from any plug. Also, in case you didn't know, you can get equivalent plugs from different manufacturers. Just ask the guy at the counter to cross reference for you. They should be equivalent in temperature.

2013年8月7日 · The plug designator is the CR8E C= Thread size / Hex size 10mm / 5/8” (16.0mm) R= Resistor plug. 8= Heat Range. E= Thread reach 19.0mm (3/4”) Notice the Logo on top... NGK R and the stamped part number on the steel hex (yes this is a CR8EK,,, because that is what i use.. but same deal with the CR8E) Other side of same plug..

2008年2月8日 · Since we are on the topic of spark plugs. I looked on line at one of those micro-fische parts catalogs and it listed the stock plug for a 2003 KLX400SR as the CR8E, but then it said it had been superseded by the cr9e.
