2021年8月9日 · The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) has appointed Tim Balcon as its new chief executive, replacing the outgoing incumbent Sarah Beale. Balcon will start at CITB on 1 September, with Beale relinquishing her post at the end of that month.

In November of 2020, Balcon became CEO of property agent membership body PropertyMark, but left abruptly in February 2021 after just four months in the role. Balcon also spent six and a half years as CEO of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, a professional body for people working in sustainability, leaving in October 2019.
