2022年9月8日 · Some of the comfort upgrades are a bit "pricey" but if you acknowledge the CB-500F as a very solid, long-term "keeper", the money is well spent. By the way,, my F model is my 85th bike, so I have a bit of experience over 70 years of riding and can say that the CB-500F is a really good long term keeper.

Raise your bike's countershaft sprocket from the OEM 15T to 17T (Sprocket Specialists) which will lower your rpm at cruise by 13%. improving your mileage and removing irritable buzzing from the engine.

The stock air box is very restrictive with lots of room for improvement as stated in many prior conversations about air box mods with dyno proof of hp gains for the 500 engines. The simple rule of volumetric efficiency, get it to breath better make more power.

I hate to think of some potential buyers passing them by due to the belief that the current CB-500 Honda models are somehow disposable bikes suitable only for cash-strapped beginners.

In order to increase the marked potential in Europe Honda has restricted the power output of the three CB 500 model's engine to 47 HP. I have, however, been told that the real power output of this engine is 53 HP.
