The Big Burro Mountains are a moderate length 35-mile (56 km) long, mountain range located in central Grant County, New Mexico. The range's northwest-southeast 'ridgeline' is located 15 mi southwest of Silver City .

2020年11月18日 · You can find super basic burro packsaddles for $300 and nice ones for about $500. Mountain Ridge Gear makes great ones, and when I stop spending money on other things I will get another. You also need two cinches per saddle at about $30 a piece so $60 a animal.

2022年11月5日 · Burro Peak is the high point of the Big Burro Mountains. It's in a weird part of New Mexico, an area not quite to The Gila, but also not really in the Chihuahuan Desert either. From afar it doesn't look like much, but it's actually a nicely forested range with the well-maintained continental Divide Trail leading to nearly the summit.
