Set in the picturesque Yorkshire village of Haworth, the Brontë Parsonage Museum takes you back to the time of the Brontës, telling the story of an exceptional family. We’re more than just a museum.

Our museum collection includes the largest variety of original Brontë items in the world, and is certified a Designated Collection by Arts Council England. This prestigious status recognises the importance of the items in our care to England’s literary history.

We never sell out of tickets, so please rest assured you'll be able to book tickets for these dates after they're released (both online in advance or at the Museum on the day). Entry is not timed. The Museum opens at 10am and last entry is 4pm.

Many of the buildings and the landscape you see today in Haworth would have been familiar to the Brontë family. The big difference would have been the day-to-day sights, sounds and smells. Back then, the village was crowded and polluted, and despite being perched on the edge of open countryside, Haworth had a death rate to rival big cities.
